PROFOMA

Protective Footwear Materials (Profoma) workshop is situated at 4/776, I.D. Area, Kanjikode West in Palakkad district, Kerala state. This is a unit of GLRA Rehabilitation Fund and manufacturing Micro Cellular Rubber (MCR) sheets, sole rubber sheets, Neolyte sheets, inner sole sheets, cut heals and Hawaii straps for domestic use which are used in making of MCR shoes for leprosy patients to protect their anesthetic feet. 

Profoma is also manufacturing Natural rubber floor tiles, doormats and mops. The Profoma products are supplied as per demand to different leprosy projects in India and abroad on subsidized rates. The products of Profoma are certified by Rubber Board, Kottayam and Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai.
